At approximately 9:15 AM on 12/16/2008, Greenfield officers responded to a report of a bank robbery in progress at the Guaranty Bank, 4661 South 27th Street.
Upon arrival, the responding officers learned that a male suspect had entered the bank and robbed it, displaying a handgun. The suspect fled on foot southwest
from the bank.
A perimeter was established in the area and canine units from Franklin and Greenfield searched the surrounding neighborhoods without success. During the search,
Greenfield Middle School, which is located two blocks from the bank, was advised to go into a “lock down” to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Suspect was wearing black and white “ENYCE” brand hooded sweatshirt with black hood, black sleeves, and white body area with red
lettering “ENYCE” on the front. Black pants with a red stripe down each leg. Black “UnderArmor” brand gloves. Black mask over face. Black and white tennis shoes. Appeared tall, approximately
6’0” to 6’3”, thin build.
